Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is incredibly relaxing, it is probably the most common form of massage therapy in the Western world. It’s very effective at stimulating blood flow around the body, releasing muscle toxins, increasing flexibility, and giving patients a huge boost in well-being. During the massage the therapist will use a range of hand motions and techniques using massage oil to make the techniques more fluid. Swedish massage is very effective at relieving stress, giving you a boost in natural energy, and leaving you feeling mentally rejuvenated. On the physical side aches and pains in your muscles can be worked out. Your body will release hormones, blood flow increases, your immune system will strengthen, and you’ll feel rejuvenated.

Reiki:  (ray-key) is Japanese for ‘universal life energy, and is also a word used to describe a system of natural healing, This tradition was founded by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century and evolved as a result of his research, experience and dedication. We live in a world of energy that nourishes and maintains all living things. When this energy flows uninterrupted there is balance and harmony within and around us, and we experience a sense of well being. It flows within the physical body though pathways called chakras and meridians. It also flows around us in a field of energy called the aura. ... Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. The practitioner gently places their hands in a series of non-intrusive positions on or near the body. There is no massage or manipulation. The whole person is treated rather than specific areas. Sessions can take 45 minutes to an hour-and-a-half, depending on the client’s needs. Each person experiences Reiki differently depending on their individual needs at the time. Clients may or may not feel sensations during a Reiki treatment. Reiki practitioners are not trained in diagnosis and will not predict any specific outcome from treatment. If people are concerned about their symptoms they should see a doctor.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage. The main difference is the amount of pressure from the therapist, and deep tissue therapists often have more experience dealing with muscular injuries. This form of massage reaches the deeper layers of muscle tissue, such as the fascia, tendons, and connective tissues. You can be referred by a doctor or health professional for deep tissue therapy to heal certain injuries.  If you’re suffering from pain in your day-to-day life or dealing with an injury, a deep tissue massage might be exactly what you need. Here are some of the health benefits to having a deep tissue massage: Improves blood pressure – Relieving stress and built up tension can have a positive effect on your blood pressure. Reduces the appearance of scar tissue – A lot of people feel self-conscious about scarring. Deep tissue massage can help reduce the appearance of scar tissue by improving blood flow and lymphatic circulation. Reduces chronic pain – If you live in pain there are a few things you can do to help manage the pain. One of the more natural and effective approaches is to have a massage. Relieves stress – Massage therapy doesn’t just have physical benefits. There are many mental benefits, such as reducing stress, anxiety, and helping to improve your focus and concentration. The pressure applied by the therapist can be very uncomfortable, but it’s necessary to break down the muscle tissues to stimulate them to repair stronger and heal. You will feel sore afterwards, try having a warm bath and doing some light stretching in the following days to reduce the discomfort.

Rejuvenating Foot Massage

Foot massage has been practiced in many cultures for centuries to promote health and well-being. It improves circulation, lowers blood pressure, helps with headaches and migraines and reduces the effects of depression and anxiety. It also helps prevent foot and ankle injuries, helps with flat feet and plantar fasciitis, and helps alleviate symptoms of PMS and menopause. The toes relate to the head, the balls to the heart and lungs, the arches to the abdomen and its organs, the heel to the pelvis, legs, and feet. That's one reason why a foot massage can relax the entire body. ... A foot massage may actually release endorphins as well as reduce stress hormones. No wonder it feels so good!
